Motif

Motif is a band of six close friends from Middle East Technical University. Though we, the members, have been living in different places of the world over the last seven years, we gather and play whenever there is a chance to do so.

Our first single, Sevmek (Love), was released on September 24, 2021. Sevmek is a letter song I composed in May 2014 from a paragraph of the letter written by Ahmed Arif (poet) to Leyla Erbil (writer) on May 22, 1954. You can stream it from YouTube or Spotify:
